Thanks for a great show, Miami!

Many thanks to everyone who visited InterMarine and InterMarine Yacht Group at the Miami International Boat Show and Yachts Miami Beach last week.

The spring boat show season is always an exciting part of the year as we exhibit new product launches and see the latest marine innovations. A lot of work goes into coordinating and executing the displays for the Miami Boat Show and Yachts Miami Beach, and our entire staff gets involved, from sales to parts to administration and the yard personnel. This is most certainly a team effort!

This year was especially meaningful for us, as not only did we have fabulous new releases from every manufacturer we represent but it was also the first time we exhibited as Monte Carlo Yachts' certified regional dealer.

Monte Carlo Yachts' booth was situated at Show Entrance No. 5 of Yachts Miami Beach. On display, we had the Monte Carlo 80 and the Monte Carlo 105, both of which will fulfill the most sophisticated yacht owner's wishlist in terms of style, performance, and finish. The Italian manufacturer has been gaining market share and growing in an accelerated fashion, giving true testament to the talented team behind these stunning yachts.

Prestige Luxury Yachts had two locations, one at Yachts Miami Beach and the other inside the Miami Marine Stadium at the Miami International Boat Show. Prestige is another luxury yacht brand that does not ever rest on their laurels. Just this past September they launched the all-new Prestige Yachts 630 at the Cannes Yacht Festival, which a few Club Prestige members got to witness first-hand and the rest of us saw live at the 2016 Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show. Since then, Prestige Yachts has also launched the new Prestige Yachts 560, and this time at Yachts Miami Beach we celebrated the debut of the new Prestige Yachts 460. This was a splendid addition to the Prestige Yachts lineup in that it is more of a compact larger yacht than simply an enlargement of the Prestige 450. It is a most welcome addition.

Yacht buyers weren't the only ones to have all the fun, however. For the first time in this area, Bayliner Boats exhibited the new tractor boats they recently acquired from HeyDay, the WT1 and the WT2. Both boats are made with young families and millennials in mind (read: super fun and affordable) plus an outboard version of the award-winning VR5 adding even more value to their already practical boat lineup.

Chaparral Boats showed off the brand-new 287 SSX bowrider, one of the best fits for the South Florida market thanks to its generous size and open layout with plenty of room for guests. The Chaparral 287 SSX boasts multiple and practical seating options to ensure everyone's comfort, lots of lounging areas for the sun worshippers, and plentiful storage. Just fill up the cooler with drinks and go!

Jeanneau Powerboats delighted crowds with the Leader line, which now spans from the Leader 30 up to the remarkable Leader 46, a truly extraordinary and beautiful yacht perfect for weekend cruises. The Leader line alone does not overshadow the rest of Jeanneau's award-winning lineup, however, as there are so many other options for exacting customers. The Jeanneau outboards are built with the chicest families in mind, and the Velascos were made for longer stays at sea complete with on-board pantries. The distinctive European look of Jeanneau Powerboats is sleek and elegant. These boats are not to be missed.

Nuova Jolly made its second splash in the North American market and they are gaining momentum as savvy boat buyers realize the quality, style, and value to be had. Nuova Jolly is an established brand outside of America, and we are thrilled to be the North American distributor of such a respected brand of rigid inflatable center console boats.

Another brand with superb flair that we would like to mention is Four Winns Boats. Four Winns has brought forth some of the sexiest sport boats around (we're looking at you, 350H) and some of the most innovative use of space we've seen. Just take a look at Four Winns 255 Vista- a perfect little pocket cruiser that, at just over 25', boasts indoor AND outdoor galley areas, four-way seating configurations in the cockpit, and standing room with full head in the cabin. The 2017 Miami Boat Show and Yachts Miami Beach were complete successes thanks to the magnificent resources and management that came together to make this show happen, the outstanding support of our manufacturers, and of course the talented team that drives our company forward. Executing not one, but two shows of this magnitude take a lot of work and experience, not to mention the work involved in setting up our own InterMarine displays consisting of more than 50 boats. We are very grateful to have been a part of it.
