InterMarine History

Founded in 1995 by two avid boater friends, Luc Thibault and Patrick Galipeau, InterMarine has been a success story from the start. Our original management staff, which is still in place today, opened its doors in Pompano Beach, Florida introducing Doral boats into the United States from Canada. The rapid acceptance of Doral boats into the American marketplace was the building bricks of a strong client base for InterMarine.

Throughout the years and with an ever-growing local and foreign client base, InterMarine quickly grew out of its original Pompano Beach facility and relocated its base of operation to Fort Lauderdale in 1998. It is at this property that InterMarine recently completed construction of a 24,000 square foot showroom, parts & service department and administrative offices housed in a state-of-the-art, contemporary design building to better service their markets.

As InterMarine evolves, their brand portfolio is evolving as well. This brand diversification has allowed InterMarine the privilege to service a wider client base by offering a well-rounded scope of products including small runabouts, jet boats, deck boats, cuddy cabins, sport cruisers, cruisers, center consoles, walk-arounds and motoryachts. InterMarine distinguish themselves by having one of the best new boat selection in the industry going from 16ft boats to 160ft yachts.

At the current time the InterMarine brands lineup includes Bayliner, Chaparral, Four Winns, Wellcraft, Belzona, Jeanneau Powerboats, Nuova Jolly RIBs, and Prestige Motor Yachts.

InterMarine has four offices located in Fort Lauderdale, Dania, Jupiter, and N. Miami Beach, FL. With a simple philosophy of putting customers as the most important part of our business, InterMarine is consistently in the top ten dealers for each manufacturer we represent.

Intermarine... Big Enough to PERFORM, Small Enough to CARE.
