WARRANTY ADMINISTRATOR

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Warranty Administrator to join our team. The primary skill sets of the Warranty Administrator is to organize and review warranty claims made by customers and ensure that we are paid for all aspect involved in the warranty by documenting and following up with manufacturers.

The ideal candidate should possess strong organizational skills to ensure that all warranty paperwork and documentation are completed and maintained in an orderly fashion. Both written and verbal communication talents are important, as the warranty administrator communicates frequently with vendors and manufacturers to ensure claims are completed in a timely, efficient manner. Candidate must also possess basic computer knowledge and good clerical skills. Marine and/or mechanical experience is a big plus.

Responsibilities

  • Review and process warranty claims submitted by customers and service departments.
  • Verify the validity of claims by assessing documentation and ensuring compliance with warranty guidelines.
  • Communicate with customers regarding the status of their claims and provide updates as necessary.
  • Collaborate with service technicians to gather necessary information for claim processing.
  • Maintain accurate records of all warranty claims and related documentation in the database.
  • Receive, reconcile, and record payment summaries from manufacturers
  • Investigate overdue, unsettled and short-paid claims
  • Provide support to management in resolving complex warranty issues.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in a relevant field is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Previous experience in warranty administration or customer service
  • Knowledge of marine industry is a plus
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining accuracy.

Experienced Marine Technician

InterMarine, a New Boat Dealership is looking for a reliable marine technician with experience. Candidate must be a self starter, able to work independently and hold a clean driver's license. Knowledge of all marine systems is a must. Certifications in any of the following such as Volvo Penta, MerCruiser and Yamaha are a plus. This is a full-time position with compensation based on experience. The company offers hourly wages/overtime, paid holidays, and benefits.

  • 2 years Marine experience required
  • Must have valid driver's license with clean record
  • Spanish (is a plus)
