Why Bayliner and Jeanneau Dominate the Day Cruiser Market
When you’re lucky enough to live and enjoy boating in South Florida, you know why day cruisers offer the best opportunities to maximize your on-the-water experience. Ample deck space, comfortable accommodations, economical hull design, and efficient power plants mean you and your family can take advantage of everything South Florida has to offer -- in style.
Intermarine is proud to represent two iconic brands in the day boat market, and we’d like to introduce you to their revolutionary new models and share why Bayliner and Jeanneau are absolutely dominating this market.
Bayliner’s Expanded DX Series Features All-New Deck Boat Models
With over 60 years of experience in the fiberglass pleasure boat industry, Bayliner enjoys an unmatched reputation for innovation, value, style, reliability, and affordability.
In addition to re-designing and updating their popular DX2000 and DX2050 models, they’re adding all-new models -- DX2200 and DX2250 -- to satisfy customer demands for more comfortable interiors, more modern styling, and more versatile design.
On the outside, added hull side sculpturing and a custom sheer line has allowed Bayliner to enhance the traditional deck boat profile, giving the DX Series a fresh level of eye appeal. A wider V-hull adds stability, and a high freeboard provides a safer, dryer ride.
On the inside, Bayliner’s DX Series features plush interiors with ample seating and lounging space to keep you and your passengers comfortable throughout the day.
All DX models feature access to the water via both a swim ladder off the full-beam integrated swim platform and an additional ladder at the anchor locker in the bow. And the DX Series’ unique under-seat storage and spacious ski locker allows for secure stowage and clutter-free cruising.
The DX Series maximizes its versatility by offering two power options: 2200/2000 outboard models and 2250/2050 sterndrive models. All DX Series models come as a complete boat and motor package and are covered by Bayliner’s best-in-class transferable warranty.
Redesigned, Updated and Upgraded DX2000 and 2050 Models
With a length of 19.5 feet and a beam of just over 8 feet, the DX2000 Outboard can accommodate 10 people and the DX2050 Stern Drive can accommodate 9. Standard power offered on the DX2000 is a 115HP Mercury Four Stroke XL EFI Outboard. On the DX2050, a 200 HP MerCruiser ECT 4.5 L Sterndrive is standard.
Both models offer unrivaled customization, and allow you to choose from among three layouts that stress maximum seating for larger groups, entertainment including a wet bar with freshwater sink and grocery locker, or a dual-console layout that offers more protection from the elements.
All-New DX2200 and DX2050
With its overall length of 21 feet 7 inches, and its 8-foot 6-inch beam, the 2200 can accommodate 12 people and the 2250 11. On the 2200, standard power is a 150 HP Mercury Four Stroke EFI Outboard. The 2250 comes standard with a 200 HP MerCruiser ECT 4.5L Sterndrive.
The spacious layout options incorporate the most popular DX Series interior features. Families or larger groups can take advantage of a dedicated wet bar, freshwater sink, and meal prep area. A dual-console floor plan accommodates a large convertible sun lounger aft and 3-position companion seat. Additional options can include an enclosed head compartment, a full windshield, a ski tow pylon, or a live well, making the DX2200 and 2250 very versatile day cruisers.
Whether you’re looking at a DX2200/2250 or DX2000/2050, Bayliner makes these user-friendly boats surprisingly affordable.
