The dawn of the New Year provides us all with an opportunity to reflect on our accomplishments of the past 12 months. At InterMarine, we have continued to base all operations on our core belief of Customer Service Excellence. This has resulted in explosive business growth, expanded business operations, and stronger relationships with our existing clientele.
People like to do business with and work with people they like and feel comfortable with. No survey, no video, no brochure could hope to duplicate the exchange of information that comes from a personal, one-on-one discussion of a customer’s needs and dreams for the boat of their dreams. Employees take pride in their place of work when they are valued.
We’d like to take a moment and look back on some of the highlights from the past year and thank everyone who has been along with us on this journey.
Without further ado, we present you with InterMarine’s Best of 2017:
No. 5: Not one, but TWO Grand Escapades.
Escapades are exclusive boating trips where InterMarine customers can get to know each other and explore gorgeous destinations as they immerse themselves in the Boating Lifestyle. There is an Escapade held nearly every month, but the real highlight of every year is the 10-day summertime Grand Escapade to the Bahamas. In 2017, for the first time ever, InterMarine held not just one but TWO summertime Grand Escapades.
Grand Escapade to the Abacos July 21-31
Starting with food and drinks at the Palm Harbor Marina in West Palm Beach, FL, our group visited some of the most exclusive and beautiful spots in the Bahamas. Our destinations included Spanish Cay, Green Turtle Cay, Elbow Cay, Great Guana Cay, Treasure Cay & Old Bahama Bay, all of which boast spectacular white sand beaches, snorkeling, fishing, unique gift shops and fresh seafood. Grand Escapade to the Florida West Coast August 11-20
Beginning with cocktails and dinner at the Hutchinson Marriot Resort & Marina in Stuart, FL, our group visited Fort Myers, Sanibel & Captiva Island, Cabbage Key, Naples, FL & Marathon, FL, each of which are known for historic site explorations, nature trails, wildlife, shelling, upscale shopping, and sumptuous dining. 4. The 2nd Annual Escapade to Cannes, France
InterMarine Yacht Group, InterMarine’s luxury division, launched the Escapade to Cannes in 2016. The Escapade was such a success that this year, the guest list grew from 10 to over 30 couples, all of whom enjoyed the finest life has to offer including private yacht excursions and tours aboard Prestige Yachts, Dreamline Yachts, and MCY. 3. InterMarine’s Holiday Party 2017
Since the Grand Opening of our beautiful Fort Lauderdale showroom, InterMarine Headquarters has been the scene of a few great gatherings. This year’s Holiday Party was no exception. Our crew is our family, and it was wonderful to celebrate the year’ accomplishments and the growth in our staff with they and their loved ones. This year’s party featured a super fun Photo Booth so we could ham it up. See the fun Photo Gallery- we guarantee it will make you smile!
2. Jeanneau Powerboats had a really great year
Jenneau Powerboats, a division of yacht powerhouse Beneteau Group, has been growing at a remarkable pace. The brand received several awards in 2017:
The Leader 33 was voted “Best for Families” in the 2017 Best of Boats Awards for its spacious cockpit, attractive exterior living area, clever layout and under deck modular saloon that transforms to a beautiful private cabin. This boat also won the special jury prize for Motor Boat of the Year in 2017 at the Paris Boat Show.
Both the Leader 33 and the NC 33 have been nominated for 2018 Awards by English magazine Motor Boat and Yachting in the Sport Cruiser category.
1. InterMarine Yacht Group became the official certified Florida dealer for Monte Carlo Yachts
Monte Carlo Yachts’ line of bespoke luxury super yachts ranging from 80’ to 105’ (at time of press) is another hugely successful innovator in the yachting industry, and we at InterMarine are incredibly proud to be the certified MCY dealer in Florida. This accomplishment is a testament to to the skill and tenacity of our management team and dedicated crew.
